This mini challenge is for participants in the 24-hour readathon.
My challenge for you is to take a photo of something that represents a character in one of the books you are reading for the readathon.
This could be something simple and symbolic, such as a photo of a bird to represent the Mockingjay in The Hunger Games series, or even a picture of flames to represent Katniss’ flaming costume.
Or you can create a more direct representation of the characters as I have below:
This is my dog Goldie in the role of Buck from Call of the Wild.
These are the mountain climbers from Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer, using a white sheet and some Bionicle action figures that I borrowed from my boys. (I created this one when I hosted last year’s challenge.)
Feel free to use your creative license – anything goes as long as it’s a clean and appropriate photo taken by you.
Leave a link to your post in the Mr. Linky below, and I will choose a winner in three hours using random.org. The prize is one book of your choice up to $20 from The Book Depository or Amazon.
This mini-challenge has finished. Thank you to all who participated!
The winner of the challenge is Anna at Her Stardust Soul, as chosen by random.org.

Great challenge! Keep up the good work!
The mask represents Sam from Before I Fall. Deep down she’s a nice person, or would like to be, but because she’s popular she feels she has to “follow the crowd” and basically be a bitch to anyone that the “leaders” decide. (Not the most original idea, I know, but I was working with the props I have available!)
I’m currently reading Mockingjay and my picture (taken in 2005) represents President Snow.

I wasn’t too original with mine but it was fun to do. Thanks for hosting the mini-challenge!
Great challenge!
I’m doing all the mini-challenges on my Tumblr and this was a great first photo to put up. Bridesmaid’s dress and a bottle of wine for the book “Girls in White Dresses.”
Nice challenge! My picture is not very original, but it was fun to think of things I could take pictures of.

I added my Saturday Snapshot link to this post by mistake. Can you delete it when you get a chance, please.
